ABOUT ME

I am a 22 year old University student who's just finished studying and am setting out on a massive trip to check out Europe and some of America! I studied Physics, Maths and Marketing at university in Wellington, New Zealand and am feeling the itch to get out and see where my feet take me.

I'm a very relaxed, happy person who's always keen to meet new people and make some new friends. I'm quite open minded and keen to get out and see the world and try new things. Im more than a little bit excitable about things people may sometimes find ordinary but that i see as fascinating, beautiful or perhaps even a bit funny. I also love laughing and always look at life as though its a massive show to entertain ya if only you look for it. And I definately enjoy going out for a few drinks and getting my awesome dance on at clubs (well i reckon im a pretty good dancer anyway haha), and always keen to check out a party and meet some funky new people. Basically i love having an awesome time and hate missing any opportunity that passes my way.

PHILOSOPHY

Just gotta enjoy and live your life, no point being unhappy or dwelling on bad stuff. Get out there and do what makes ya happy!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined couchsurfing just before i set off from new zealand so at the moment am just surfing but might start hosting once I'm back home.

Interests

I enjoy hanging out with mates, meeting new people, partying, playing some cricket, watching cool movies/TV shows, playing poker, hitting the beach, barbeques in the sun, reading good books, listening to cool music, going out to concerts, just living life to the fullest!

Movies: Watchmen, Sweeney Todd, O Brother Where Art Thou, Iron Man, The Producers, 300, Transformers, Pulp Fiction, Hot Fuzz, V for Vendetta, The Birdcage, Nightmare Before Christmas, Blues Brothers, Supertroopers, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Batman Begins&Dark Knight, Shaun of the Dead and heaps more! Gotta say I do love almost anything with music in it

Music: Have quite an ecclectic taste I have to say. Like all sorts of things, just stuff i hear and cant get out of my head. Although just to name a few we have Daft Punk, Jamiroquai, Muse, Odessa, Blues Brothers, Foo Fighters, Queen, Lenny Kravitz, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Electric Six, Black Seeds, Flight of the Conchords, REM, U2, Jet, Smashmouth, Tenacious D, White Stripes, Beatles
All in all its a lot of rock, funky music, laid back reggae/Dub. Not so much into heavy metal but other than that I like a lot of styles

Books: Mostly Sci fi/fantasy stuff but have read a fair few other genres and always keen to find some new interesting ones. Some of my favourites are the Terry Pratchett Discworld Series, Lord of the Rings, Bartimeaus Trilogy, Les Miserables

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Have gone sky diving which was the single scariest and most awesome experience of my life!

I can tell ya all about the mysteries of the universe or at least the physics behind them if you can stand me blabbing on about it for hours. Dont worry i wont bore ya unless you ask me too haha. I can also tell ya all about new zealand which i whole heartedly suggest as an awesome travel destination!
