About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Living, not just surviving.

ABOUT ME

All about me... hum. I feel like I should have my therapist write this, but I`ll give it a try. I consider myself an adventurous guy who likes living each day as it comes my way. I hate daily routines I prefer waking up each morning not knowing where I`m going, who I`m going to meet, what I`m going to do, what I`m going to eat. I`d make a great tramp. I love meeting random people, especially when they have something cool to share. I can get along with anyone whether they`re adventurous and unpredictable like me or predictable with a steady job like an accountant (I apologize in advance to all accountants). I like people who challenge me in an intellectual level and people who take me out of my comfort zone. I believe that only by taking a chance on different experiences and opinions can you grow and become a better human being who is able to contribute to the building of a better world.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live.
Be the difference you want to see in this world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I still haven`t hosted anyone, but I`ve met some CSers and have had drinks or shared a meal with them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm just a begginer at the CS project. I haven't hosted anyone yet. But I'm looking forward to it.

Interests

I`m interested in traveling obviously, but I`m also interested in languages, religion (even thought I`m atheist), culture (I keep asking myself the questions "what constitutes the national character of a country?"; "how are cultures different from each other and what aspects should you consider to draw that distinction?"; "What are the cultural aspects that are shared universally?". I guess I`m a bit of an amateur anthropologist

Music, Movies, and Books

I love jazz, classical or contemporary. I also love rock, pop, country, Brazilian Pop Music (MPB being the Brazilian acronym), Tango, Classical, folk music from all over the world, Children`s Music, Musical songs, Funk, Brazilian Funk, House Music. Basically I love anything that makes noise.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I learned how to use the toilet before my mom`s cat. For a moment there she thought it`d win.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach of course my native language (Brazilian Portuguese). I can teach you how to make a kick ass grilled cheese. I can teach you how to read and write (but not in any language that doesn`t use the latin alphabet). I can teach you how not to speak French and German. I can teach you to walk backwards and how to sing Happy Birthday in Portuguese :D

Countries I’ve Visited

Croatia, Greece, Italy, New Zealand, Spain, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
