About Me

I am a 20-something student in agricultural entomology and plant pathology in a school based in Montpellier, France. I am currently fulfilling a "sandwich" year in order to experience different fields of research through internships along with small trips to discover new places around the world. I am kind, respectful and I like to think that I get along with pretty much everyone. I love cats and dogs (I won't take side on that matter - love 'em all). My everyday life is governed by music, I always have some jams playing in the background. I also think that music is an inexhaustible mean to share with people. Another part of me lies in food and wine. Eating food with fiends or fam - cooking food with friends or fam - eating food with friends or fam that you've first cooked together is, to me, the best thing in the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing for a couple of reasons:
In the past travelers used to walk or ride a horse/a camel/a moose (yes, Santa does that!) all day long. When eventually dusk was about to fall, they would ask a local to host them for a night. That's how people would learn about what was happening at the other side of the country or how people were living in the country next-door. By joining Couchsurfing I hope I would be able to experience that many times.
Since I have spent a year living in the United States and traveled in North America I have an other viewpoint on my place in the world. I am more open and eager to meet people from abroad in my own country. I want to give back what I've been given throughout my stay and that is a hand in a country you don't know, knowledge and tips on places to visit and see, a roof.
Finally, I am a student and my budget is tight. So sleeping on a couch and meeting nice people is gold to me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favorite books are the following :
Gösta Berling's Saga written by Selma Lagerlöf
Big Breasts & Wide Hips written by Mo Yan
One Hundred Years Of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez

Favorite movie ? Have none! Favorite music ? No, that, I can't answer !

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd love to share stories and laughs, food and wine ! but not only.
