Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As a guest:

I take my guest experience very seriously and I want to make sure that I am as accommodating to the host as possible. Besides that, I don't take myself or others too seriously and I am just here to enjoy the moment.

I always embark on every trip with a plan and always give myself space to explore and feel lost.

As a host:

I can host for up to 2-3 days or short arrangements. Due to circumstances, I cannot host extended stays such as 1-2 weeks :( However, the length of stay is flexible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So many memories and connections. This section is due to be outdated because I have had so many positive experiences with this community. Just ask me.

Minneapolis in June 2014. Had so many small and wonderful experiences. I left feeling inspired and grateful of the CS community. Thank you!

Phoenix in July 2014. Lots of adventure and left with an incredible full-body sunburn. Worth it though.

Oklahoma City in August 2014. A simple, no-frills trip. Things did not turn out as expected (missed a flight, no public transportation so I had to walk the whole time). Enjoyed the bar scene. Host was super kind and drove me to the airport in the early AM.

Interests

Conversations, food, beer, wine, energy and sustainability, traveling, investing, all sports, gym, movies, reading, chess, living the healthy lifestyle and enjoying the nightlife, getting lost in a city.

Music, Movies, and Books

Currently reading an eclectic mix of books in economics, psychology, and fiction. (read 18 and 20 books in 2014 and 2015, average about 10 after that. Since 2018, I've been focused on other career related ventures and read less and less :( The Alchemist is a must. All music and especially fond of electronic. A generalist of everything in this category.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going wake boarding in Ibiza (not knowing how to swim at all!)
Seeing France on top of Eiffel Tower
Feeling the refreshing air in Denver
Feeling accomplished on top of Angel's Landing in Zion National Park
Presenting myself in the best way possible in Boston
Winning the last kickball game in the 2014 season.
Waking up at 4 am to see the sunrise on a hot air balloon in Phoenix.
The insane alcoholic intake during Mardi Gras in NOLA.
Unexpected late night shenanigans in Atlanta.
Seeing the launch of hundreds of hot-air balloons in Albuquerque.
Understanding the hustle and bustle of Cancun.
Getting my butt beat by the way-too-spicy Nashville Hot Chicken
Seeing the Northern Lights and getting in a hot spring in Alaska
Inspiring others to travel.
