About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be and make others happy

ABOUT ME

We are a couple of architects, no kids for now.
He is 39 and she is 33. We love to know people, places and cultures.
We are beaultiful (ask our moms if you have any doubt about), very relaxing, easygoing, and we really hope to be good hosts and guests.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't worry, be happy.
We, as a couple, are on a defiant and exausting seek for happyness. As so, we found out that in orther to be happy ourselfs, we also need to make other people happy. It is a mather of giving and receiving. And that trade is mostly in the small things like a smile, a sincere "thank you very much!" insted of a simple and dry "thanks.", or laughing with people you barely know.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Tying to increase the cultural exchange!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We`ve hosted people for an year and it was amazing! It is like travel whithout leaving home. We had great experiences so far, and we love the cultural exchange.
As surfers, we`ve been trying to couchsurf at least once in every country, because it make our understanding of the local culture a lot more complete, and less superficial. We also had only wonderfull experiences so far.

Interests

Our insterests goes from sports in general (belive it or not but ou most favorite is Rugby), drinking beer and wine, cinema, reading, and last but not least, traveling the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hard to say only one thing... so we chose to make a top 5 list of the 4 greattest things so far, in orther:
1st - Getting married to each other as an excuse to get 5 more vacation days (that's how much we love traveling)
2nd - Traveled to New Zealand during the RWC 2011
3rd - Getting the family together at Portugal and Azores
4rd - Travelled around the world for 15 months, this was something really amazing!

Teach, Learn, Share

We could offer to teach:
Brazilian portuguese language, a little bit of brazilian culture, and culinary. As architects, we are always available to talk about this subject.

To learn:
The same things we like to teach. As we said, it is a fair trade, don`t you think?!

Share:
General experiences as travelers. Talking about other countries and cultures is one of the most exciting things to talk about.
