About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Traveling, making friends all over and having loads of fun...while getting to know new cultures...
ABOUT ME
A easygoing, happy and friendly guy! I don't know how to talk a lot about me, but the chatting to me should answer your questions!
PHILOSOPHY
"I now understand my father: A man needs to travel. By his own means and not through stories, images, books or TV. A man needs to travel by himself, with his own eyes and feet, so he can understand what belongs to him. So that one day he can plant his own trees and appreciate them. Get to know the cold to value the warmth, and the opposite. Feel the distance and the lack of home to be well beneath his own ceiling. A man needs to travel to places that he doesn't know, so he can break this stupidity that makes us see the world as we imagine it, and not as it is or as it can be. That makes us doctors and teachers of what we haven't seen, when we're just supposed to be pupils, go there, and see it."
(Amyr Klink - Brazilian sailor)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well, presently, I live with lots of people (brothers), and (unfortunatly) I don't have a couch available in my house. But I love to meet people coming to Rio for a drink or a coffee.
I can also show the city and my favourite spots to the people that want to hang out for a while!
Interests
I am particularly interested in the International (it's very broad, I know, but that includes couchsurfing), but also a lot in history, politics, books and aircraft. I also enjoy cooking (and learning how to prepare new dishes, also discussing cooking) and beer tasting (tasting and talking about it) and I'm a easygoing person that will talk over almost every type of subject proposed, listening when I don't know about it and talking when I do. That's also a primary interest: learning!
- books
- cooking
- beer
- coffee
- drinking
- aviation
- politics
- tv
- traveling
- socializing
- history
- international relations
Teach, Learn, Share
I could spend some 5 hours non stop talking about International Relations and World Politics, and other 5 hours talking about aviation. I think this is the information I could better share. History (specially contemporary worldwide - but I could talk a while about brazillian history also) is another subject I love. I could hear and learn about anything...cooking and beer are just some of them!
