ABOUT ME
Science has already proven the dangers of smoking, alcohol, and Chinese food, but I can still ruin soft drinks for everyone!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm sorry to say but at the current moment I don't have a couch for people to stay at. Hopefully sometime in the not too distant future that may change. Right now, I can offer someone laid back to hang out with, show you around the town, see the sights, chill in a cafe, or have a meal with. I LOVE GOOD FOOD, GOOD MUSIC, and GOOD COMPANY...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first CS experience was great and I hope to continue my travels and personally contribute to this organization.
Interests
TRAVELING! I love seeing the differences in people and want to experience all the world has to offer... I also LOVE food! Cooking is a favorite pastime of mine. I also like to read and run.

Teach, Learn, Share
In 2003 I was 20 years old and going to live in Australia was my first overseas travel (I'd been to Canada, but being from Buffalo, Canada doesn't count). My flight was from Buffalo to NYC with a 5 hour layover, then to LA with a 2 hour layover, then on to Sydney. Somehow, between NYC and LA, my passport went MIA and I couldn't continue traveling. I was pretty much stranded in LA without a place to stay and little money. The next day I ended up in a candy shop, figuring that chocolate would make me feel better. I chatted with the elderly ladies who were there and found out one was from the Western New York area. I told her my situation and she called someone to help me. Fifteen minutes later, a girl arrives offering me her families' guest house until I can get myself back on track. Her family was very different in beliefs and practices than I would have associated with, but they were the most kind and giving people. I don't know where or what I would have done if they had not been so kind. MORAL OF THE STORY: Always be open to other's perspectives. You may not agree with what a person thinks, believes, or practices, but there are many good hearted people hiding out there. You just need to find them!
