Overview
About Me
Laid back and neat-freak, love to travel and live with purpose. A day dreamer who uses discipline as a method to make my dreams come true.
Skydiver, foodie, lover of cold beers, too chatty sometimes, enjoy cooking my meals and spend my life in the pursuit of improvement and happiness.

- You get to experience the places you visit from the perspective of a local

Music, Movies, and Books
Music
I can't talk about music because it depends on my mood. It could be Metallica, Scott Joplin, Bob Marley, Edith Piaf, Michael Camilo...
Movies
Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, House of Cards. This is literally all the TV exposure I have had lately. But I do love to go to the movies, specially if it's IMAX 3D. Anyway, movies that has been epic for me: Amores Perros, Requiem for a Dream, El Secreto de sus Ojos, Inception, Into the Wild, The Shinning, The Green Mile, Forest Gump, Mad Max...
Books
I am not reading lately because I have been too focused on coding, but a couple of books that have contribute to my thought process: The Alchemist, Aleph, The 48 Laws of Power, The 3 Agreements, Sophie's World, The Prince, among others.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Volunteer to build emergency houses in Haiti, starting a week after the earthquake of 2012 that killed over 250,000 people.
After being a pretty decent lawyer, I decided to throw these years in the garbage and compromise everything I had and was, to start from 0 as a programmer. Today I work full-time as a Web Developer and happier than ever.
After failing miserably in my last business, I got seriously indebted. Instead of procrastinating the situation, I focused during 15 months non stop, without ever going out or buying things for me and paid the whole debt.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach Spanish and want to practice German. Programming, dominican cuisine.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook, help them clean and organize their home, teach them basic programming, and they can practice Spanish with me. We can go out and do outdoor activities or have drinks and meals .
