About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To learn as much as I can and meet new friends

ABOUT ME

I enjoy learning about as many things as I can. I like to play guitar, electric and acoustic, and have been in a few bands. I also like to travel and meet open minded people. I also enjoy going out for drink from time to time, which can be quite often where I come from. I am pretty much just an easy going person who likes to have new and mind expanding experiences.

PHILOSOPHY

To be a student of the world. Life is short, so it is our responsibility to make the most of it and enjoy what the world has to offer,

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have had a few friends who have participated in CS and have said many good things about it. I am currently traveling through Europe for a study abroad program and decided to give CS a try to meet new people, and aid me in my journeys.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only couch-surfed at friends places (Rob and Jes in Lille, France). It was a great time and I got to meet a lot of really great people.

Interests

Playing guitar, traveling, hiking, drinking, listening to good music, walking around, hanging out with friend, studying the periodic table, bicycling, new experiences, drinking, and going out and drinking

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies I've seen recently: Snatch, Brain Candy, MP's Meaning of Life...there's tons of movies I like. Music: Snowden, Digable Planets, Black Angels, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles...anything good thats out of the mainstream. Books: I read a lot of non-fiction, but Chuck Palahniuk, Tom Robbins, Poe, Twain, Kafka, Lovecraft

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I used to work for a hot-air Balloon company where I helped take-offs, tracked the balloons, and helped take them down. I also got to fly in balloons several times.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to play guitar with other musicians. I have studied martial arts (Shotokan) for well over a decade. I like to learn whatever anybody wants to teach me.
