Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Hope. Inspiration. Storytelling. And probably a beer or cup of coffee along the way.
ABOUT ME
I love deep conversations, new places and getting to know new faces, just about any performance art, organizing and cleaning, and being inspired to create. Storytelling is simply the best!
I have developed a word to describe my social views: Communalism. I believe that if we work together as a community and really explore what it means to love each other through empathy, then we'll generally be happier people. And, hey, we have differences! Isn't that great!?
Alright, enough about that serious stuff. I also love hockey, burgers, fried rice, ice cream, Dexter, Community (the TV Show), card/board games, and parkour.
Basically, I like to keep busy and like to help people know they are appreciated.
PHILOSOPHY
"How are you?" doesn't have to be a rhetorical question.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1) I participated in a homeless life experience while getting my BA in Seattle, and was told by an engaging homeless man with piercing eyes, a slight smile, and excellent slight of hand who performed a magic trick with ash from a cigarette, "You're not afraid of being poor, lonely, worthless, unsuccessful, and unloved. You're afraid of being that way when you die." I will never forget this moment.
2) My niece was born in a neighboring state (born in Oregon while I was in Washington), and I drove all night to be there and be one of the first ones to hold her. This was one of the best choices I have made in my life.
3) I was walking with a friend, involved deeply in conversation, and of course smacked my head right into a brick pillar. My friend to this day refuses to believe that I wasn't faking it. I still wonder to this day why stupidity can be so hilarious!
