About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To appreciate and value the different cultures and geographical gifts this world has to offer!

ABOUT ME

Hello, all! David here. I also love to cook, try different foods (local, homemade and even street food!), learn languages and about different cultures. Pretty adventurous here, from beaches to mountains, rivers to desert, you name it. I also don't mind spending hours engaging in conversation over coffee or tea and hearing about your slice of life.

PHILOSOPHY
“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.” - Mark Twain

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I volunteered in a government school in Jaipur, India. I served as an English teacher for children aged 5-12. It was the most amazing experience of my life!

I also went solo backpacking in Iran and Pakistan and met some of the most amazing people EVER!

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to exchange ideas and meet people from all over the world. Isn't it such an amazing experience?? What I aim for when I travel abroad is to feel like a local and experience that destination as any local would.
