CURRENT MISSION
Together with one of my nicest and coolest friends (for example he makes his own musical instruments) I am cycling untrained from the Netherlands to Istanbul.
We do this just because it’s fun and to make beautiful memories, since memories aren’t a given for everyone we are also running a campaign to raise money in the Netherlands for Alzheimer’s disease.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Helping others is helping yourself.
I would like to welcome people in my house, and see what the moment brings.
Also if you don't feel social that's no problem. I can imagine that if you do this alot you want some rest aswell. Just tell me. I will let you stay in peace. Only in the night i will scare the hell out of you with a spooky mask. ( Just kidding)

Interests

Writing, playing the guitar and ukelele ( I think improvising songs with friends is really funny), reading about self-improvement, movies, cooking, creating things with friends, I meditate twice a day, I love weird out of the box people. I love to have conversations on the street with strangers.
I like to read a lot about positive psychology and the science of happiness.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Right now I am cycling with a good friend from the Netherlands to Istanbul without any experience. We do this to make lasting memories and we also do this to raise money in the Netherlands for Alzheimer’s Disease!

Created a platform for happiness for kids where I have put online psychological happiness lessons so everyone in the world can teach this.
The lessons are translated to 8 languages and downloaded around 20 000 times and still counting.

That birds fly seems normal.. but lets be honest... This is fantastic!

Look around and you find kids who are making scary faces, a butterfly, a leave who falls out of the tree but the wind blows it back in. The wonders of life are all around you. Embrace them and you become the richest person alive.

All happiness can be found within oneself.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Two friendly couches and a matress. A music/ artistic room, a longboard, A great roommate and myself. A balcony, A forest and the beach ( 20 minutes on board or bycicle)

Juggling lessons, jamming, and a lot of knowledge about the science of leading a happy life since I work in the field of happiness psychology.
