ABOUT ME

I have always spent a lot of time trying to understand my world, but only to the point of useful application, only to innovate...
Now, I make a conscious habit of filling my life with the activities and company I enjoy....To dance, to go out and meet new people, to learn about how others think and how I communicate with them, to reflect.... a habit of choosing to be happy, of being aware of my thoughts and why i'm thinking them. I can be quiet, or I can talk to everyone at a party. It really depends on how comfortable I feel.

PHILOSOPHY

It's so simple it's very hard to explain....Life is a collection of habits; be happy because there is no reason good enough for me to not be happy; do what I love to do and be with the people I love to be with; we become what we think about, ask and you shall receive...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I attend the weekly gatherings in San Diego from time to time, and have some close friends here through it. The most I have participated was during the summer of '08 in the balkans, when I was living in Zagreb and traveled to many different countries.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started couchsurfing just as i began a one month trip around the Balkans. I've stayed on one couch in Banja Luka in Bosnia i Herzegovina, and another two in Belgrade. As well as that i've been to a CS evening in Belgrade, and some in San Diego. I hosted once at home in Kilkenny, and another unofficial time in Dublin (a friend and couchsurfer).

Music, Movies, and Books

I watch a lot of movies and usually go for ones where I can connect with some positive characteristics/values in the film. To understand my type of movie, you really have to understand me, but some of my favorites are:
Gran Torino, Dead Man's Shoes, American Beauty.
The Wood is also a great movie, because it's hilarious, while I'll also go for films with goofy humor, like In Bruges or Just Friends.

I listen to a lot of different music, but the best rule is music I can move or dance to. Electronic beats are preferable (indie dance, old skool rap, drum and bass), but not a must (e.g. latin, 50's-70's pop, ska, soul).
The only music i can really say i dont like is metal and soft rock.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Perhaps watching the sunset on a isolated beach paradise in Southern Albania, having run out of money with only enough left for the bus back to Tirana the next morning.
