About Me

Currently readjusting to life in North America after living in Europe.

ABOUT ME

I recently returned from Spain. I lived in Galicia and Madrid where I taught English for 3 years. Before living abroad I lived in the Pacific Northwest where I attended University.
I enjoy music, art and film and also enjoy watching MMA with my Brazilian jiu jitsu teammates. I have taken time to travel and help on people's farms and fincas in Morocco and Andalusia. I've enjoyed doing natural building projects and am open to learning new things and working hard everyday.
philosophy-- I try to encompass these ideas with being as compassionate towards my fellow human beings and other living things. I'm continually working on trying to learn from others in ways that I can improve my quality of life; From sustainability to just enjoying the simple things of life. If anything I am just trying to stay positive and attract positive people. I strive for peace, love, understanding, and harmony with the knowledge that nothing comes easily.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: All kinds. Let's listen to some.

Authors: Too many authors, let's talk about some books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For a year I volunteered at Cascades Raptor Center; a non profit organization that aided in the rehabilitation and release of birds of prey. I was able to prep medications and hold injured birds. Even when injured I was amazed at their strength! It was always rewarding when they were let back into the wild.

In Venice, Italy I was lucky enough to see the Biennale Art Festival that is only held once every two years. It was quite amazing to see art from all over the world.

I had the opportunity to be in Paris on Bastille Day and witness the festivities. My favorite part of being in Paris had to be my visit to the catacombs.

Traveling to various Pre-colombian ruins around México and Guatemala.

Moving from the west coast of the US to Spain

Teach, Learn, Share

Recently I have acquiring techniques in self defense and Brazilian jiu jitsu. I am more than willing to share basic techniques.

I would like to learn how to play more music. I play a little guitar and bass but would love to learn any new techniques anyone would like to teach me. The same would go for languages too.
