About Me
ABOUT ME
- Fascinated by anything that concerns the culture of a specific nation - music, books, food, history.
- I can't be around arrogant, superficial and ignorant people. I am usually structured and patient with everyone, but I won't waste my time either if I think that person is not worth it.
- I love to travel, which I think is some kind of food for the soul, to ask questions and to learn. My curiosity doesn't end.
- I usually restore my energy in nature - in the forests or by the sea. I feel comfortable around animals and simple people. They can sometimes teach you more than an entire library or academic group :).
PHILOSOPHY
People can't be changed. All you can do is give your best shot when it comes to you, your development and your patience and kindness with other people. Kindness is a universal language.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: K-PAX, O, brother, where art thou, The Fountain, Don't move, Invictus, The salt of the earth. Lately, though, I'm more into documentaries and movies based on real stories.
Music: mostly jazz, blues, scandinavian folk music, sometimes rock. A bit of everything, except trance, death metal etc.
Books: Henry Miller, Walt Whitman, Ernesto Sabato, books that involve historical details and specific cultures (such as Mika Waltari's or Orhan Pamuk's).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swam in Wli, the highest waterfall in West Africa. Can't forget the roar of those tons of water falling from 150 meters above, their crushing wheigh that wasn't allowing you to get too close to the waterfall, the impressing force of nature itself.
Teach, Learn, Share
What I'd like to learn: cook traditional dishes, Irish dances.
What I could teach or share: the Communism period and its detention methods, human rights, a bit of history, how to cook Romanian food and drink tzuica :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Nothing more but my thoughts, emotions and stories. :)
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Moldova, Netherlands, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Viet Nam
