ABOUT ME

In my younger years I grew up in Texas, US. This of course instilled that good old Texan Pride in me. But soon I moved to Colorado and was taken back in aw by the majestic view of the Rocky Mountains. You see I came from a land so flat that two pieces of sand stacked on top of each other was considered a mountain. This was life changing and I quickly realized that Colorado was exponentially better then Texas, therefore my pride turned into Colorado Pride.

I absolutely love the outdoors and any type of activity associated with it. Canyoneering, Skiing, and Kite Surfing being my top picks. I got my Bachelors in Recreational Leadership from Brigham Young University - Idaho. And am always looking for the next adventure.

I spent two years as a missionary for my church preaching the word of God.
I loved working at Anasazi, The Making of a Walking, where I am able to witness the change of many young lives as they turn their hearts homeward and their eyes upward.
Bicycling across America (California to Florida) has been awe inspiring and I have love almost every minute of it.
Building a Skin on Frame Kayak has always been a hope of mine, and now I am teaching others how to do it. I just need to go on a long expedition with one now, maybe the Lewis and Clark trail.

All in all, I love life.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is a walking, and I have the choice to either forwards-walk or backwards-walk. I choose to walk in the light, listening to the wind, while being surrounded by those who walk as WE.
I am a strong advocate for not living life as a spectator. Get OFF the TRAIL, it's OK, the bears will not eat you. Experience the outdoors! Experience life! Don't just view it!

I've shared the vision of CS to many people. I greatfully have had the privilege of staying at some amazing peoples homes and when ever I can I offer mine for surfing.

I love all three of these categories but have noticed on many and many of occasions that I can not talk about these as much as the next guy. I've just never taken the time to memorize the millions of names that are floating around these categories.

Movies: I love ones with a well crafted story.

Music: I love classical music as well as classical rock. Songs that are fun to dance to or that have a good message about it. And ones that I can relax too.

Books: I am as of recent getting into more of the classics.
Current Book: Count of Monte Cristo

I have been/seen some of the most beautiful landscapes of the western US in my walking but nothing rivals the change of a human soul.
