CURRENT MISSION

I am currently on a 6-month exploration of North / Central America by camper van. Soon to enter Mexico, quite a crazy adventure !

ABOUT ME

I enjoy meeting people from different worlds and cultures. I am very curious and ambitious - for now, more curious than ambitious as I took 6 months off from my job to explore North and Central America. I am planning to go all the way to Panama then turn back, exploring everything else in between. In the meantime, I hope to meet like-minded spirits for a good conversation or some libation !

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy:

1) Know yourself. That takes a long time, but you gotta know your strengths and weaknesses, your background, know where you are coming from, know what you like and dislike etc.

2) Continually strive to improve yourself. This includes physically - stay fit and active, live a long and productive life. And it includes emotionally and mentally - read, explore, discover new things, learn new things - learn new languages, new instruments, learn to dance, learn to cook, then teach others.

3) Strive to make a difference in the world - so that when you are gone, your memory, your mark will remain. Treat others well, teach them what you are passionate about, treat the environment with respect, be a participant in the improvement of the world, economically, culturally, politically, or other. Even though you are only one person, remember that the world changes, one person at a time. Everyone was born with the potential to make a difference in this world. It's up to you to take advantage of that potential.

I like it all. Right now, I am reading only spanish books, in order to get fluent in spanish for my foray into Latin America.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Over the first 3 months of my trip, I have seen an incredible number of national parks in both USA and Canada, great towns, beautiful sights, sunsets, wildlife, there is just too much to tell here, but you can probably catch a glimpse of it on my blog.
