SORRY MOVED OUT OF MY APT 10/7/10 So cannot Host Right until I find another more permanent place hopefully IRELAND... Stay Tuned True believers...
Finally on the upside of recovering from 10+ years of Very Severe Sleep Apnea, March 2010 I was in really bad shape, sorry to everyone to drop out of the loop but I am back, Left my Job with the State of Indiana 6/30/10, to finally Live and reconnect with friends and family, (along with finding another job). If you missed me drop me a line.

PHILOSOPHY

After 10+ years of literally unknowingly dying every night from Sleep Apnea, I am going to Live like its going out of Style.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hopefully I can be an informal tour guide, I only have been in Indy three years, so their is alot I need to learn about the city still, But for 20 years my Great Aunt put on the colonial garb and did tours for Philadelphia saying in her later years she was the oldest streetwalker in Philly, so maybe I have the genes for this.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had a wonderful couchsurfing experience in Lima, OH in August 2009, Have been to some Indy couchsurfing game nights and meetups, Had a severe illness that left me away from couchsurfers for 5 months, but am going to get back in the swing majorly now.

Interests

Fishing, Working on Swing and Salsa Dancing, weekly trivia night at the Pub, Supporting the various local Roller Derby teams and skaters, Volunteering at a local art studio, (trying to give the right brain a chance for stimulus, after 20 years as a science geek).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

March 2010 I had gotten so week from my illness (though I did not know it I was having congestive heart failure like events every night for about 10 months.) I was still fighting but I was spent. I have to give credit where its due, God kept me alive, If I had not gotten a C-PAP I'm dead by now. Not to sound overly dramatic, but being brought back from death's door and years of suffering, I count that as AMAZING.

Teach, Learn, Share

Wow, I have a PhD and I am not sure what I can share that the govt might not get uneasy about. I am a willing learner though, Not to insult, any other religions but this whole concept really embraces the Christ at the Door concept of the Benedictines, (says the guy who is not quite got his couch in shape for guests, bit Lord knows, I am working on it)
