À propos de moi

CURRENT MISSION

Storing up energy, accumulating funds, and otherwise personally developing for my next adventure.

ABOUT ME

I'm a 24 year old engineering graduate living in LA. You might call me a V-POET (Virtually Planless, Over Educated Twenty Something. My friend Elizabeth coined this term and I've found it to be the most concise and useful term for the like-minded and like-situated peers I've been running into). I'm residing in Los Angeles at the moment, saving funds and planning for my next move, possibly to the Bay Area. I'm interested in sailing long distances, learning about the human mind and language (I'm a big Steven Pinker fan), and modular synth design. My last trip I was travelling across the US living in a truck with my friend, busking on the streets for money. We never used couch-surfing but I want to give it a try!

Centres d'intérêt

I like science, math, engineering, computer science-y things (and other things most people enjoy, like air, movies, music, etc.). I love riddles. I love exploring new worlds and meeting new friend groups... exploring how broad of a range the human experience encompasses. I also love singing and playing music with friends.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I like a huge variety of music. I am a drummer, so I love latin and jazz. I'm also interested in songwriting.

I love learning about the mind, and I've recently been enjoying a few works by Steven Pinker. I love learning in the traditional, boring sense, so I usually stick to non-fiction, but occasionally I branch out to some fiction novels to stretch my imagination. I loved "Even Cowgirls Get the Blues" by Tom Robbins, and I'm now enjoying "The Book of Laughter and Forgetting" by Milan Kundera.
