About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Learn about life through travelling and meeting as wide a range of people as possible
ABOUT ME
I was born in Melbourne but lived in Malaysia and Thailand between the ages of 8 and 16, attending international schools and hence making friends from around the world. During this time I travelled a lot with my family - I think this is how my passion for travel was born! After school I worked as an outdoor education leader for a year, taking girls aged 10-14 kayaking, canoeing, sailing, caving, trekking, and teaching them about sustainable living. I then dived into university, and am studying Economics, French, and Development. I lived in a residence for 2.5 years where I met the most amazing people. I am currently on a year-long exchange in France, which has been a challenging but enriching experience so far!
PHILOSOPHY
"Everything happens for a reason"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm just new to couch surfing and at the moment I'm hoping that it will be a good opportunity to meet locals whilst travelling around Europe, to get under the skin of the different cities I visit and make new friends along the way, and that I'll be able to repay the favour once I return to Australia!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My friend and I did some couchsurfing through Italy and had a lot of fun - overall it's been a really positive experience so far
