About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See every marine mammal species on the planet

ABOUT ME

For me life has always been about the ocean. I grew up in a very land locked place, so the only obvious career trajectory for me was marine biologist. I am now a graduate student in Marine Science, I study whales and dolphins and love every second of it. I am also, from birth, posessed of a very powerful wanderlust, and am not quite right unless the gound (or water) is moving beneath my feet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Interests

I love being active i.e. Athletics, football, basketball, baseball, rugby, Track and field, surfing skiing, hiking.

I am also enamored of culture. Music, art and literature are the vittles that sustain me through the winter of life disappointments. I have over the past 4 years really gotten into photography. It is a way for me to capture my experiences and hold on to them for the rest of my life. This is increasingly becoming one of my favorite parts of traveling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first time I got upclose to a humpback whale will always be one of the most cherished moments of my lifetime. The undeniable grace of such a tremendously large animal left me awestruck.

skydiving over monterey bay was trully an amazing experience
