On a personal level, I'm currently at a B2 level in Russian, eagerly advancing towards C1 proficiency. My spirit resonates with Russian culture, and inside me beats a Russian heart. Obviously, my soul is Russian, and I invite Russian speakers to correspond with me in their language.

In my ongoing projects, I'm immersing myself in home and garden improvement and property maintenance, preparing my beachfront home for the next 50 years. Concurrently, I'm dedicated to honing my Russian language skills, growing my online businesses, and crafting new and engaging tabletop games centered around historical battles that significantly impacted human history – history is my absolute passion!

Hailing from a family filled with love, I make meditation and regular workouts part of my routine. Whether backpacking and hitch-hiking around the world or savoring any day of the week, I approach each day as if it were my last. I find joy in my life, love myself, and yes, I enthusiastically embrace Mondays!

I deeply value hosting kind and generous people in my home. While gifts from guests are not expected, if you're inclined, a bottle of red or white wine and/or a six-pack of Balboa beer (Red Label or Red Tin/Can) from Panama is always welcomed.

When reaching out, a subtle sign that you've perused my profile is including the line "I love dogs and I agree to respect your house rules, and I absolutely love washing dishes" at the end of your CouchSurfing request. It's a small gesture, but it tells me you've taken the time to understand who you're reaching out to. Consider it a kind of secret passphrase to unlock and receive a positive response to your Couch Request.

A couple of important notes: I don't host for less than 48 hours, valuing the opportunity to meet and learn about my guests and their culture. Additionally, please adhere to one couch request per person – if you're traveling with someone else, they should send an individual request and agree to my house rules.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe I belong in the CouchSurfing organization and movement because I am eager to learn from the diverse perspectives of fellow members, traverse the globe, exchange stories, and cultivate an atmosphere of optimism. Although I'm a newcomer to this official platform, I've been an unofficial couch surfer throughout my life, discovering the joy of hosting and being hosted long before I knew it was called couch surfing. My extensive unofficial experiences have been consistently positive. Embracing new individuals, exploring different places, and engaging in varied experiences have always proven beneficial for expanding the mind.

Interests

I find joy in sitting on rooftops and marveling at our beautiful world, realizing my dreams, writing songs, and playing pianos. One of my aspirations is to eventually learn how to tune pianos myself. Currently, I'm dedicated to improving my Russian skills, focusing on reading Russian literature and magazines. If you're interested in assisting me with my Russian journey, I'm more than happy to welcome you into my home.

Interestingly, my greatest passion in life is washing dishes. I genuinely get excited when I meet fellow dishwashing enthusiasts and extend an open invitation to those who share this sentiment to have a spare room at my place. However, I must admit that I'm still working on fully enjoying the task. To make the process more enjoyable, I watch historical documentaries or listen to podcasts in the Russian language while tending to my pots, pans, and dishes.
