About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to know how to say "thanks" in all languages :)
ABOUT ME
Tall and smiling guy, boundlessly happy, sometimes serious, too sensitive, always quiet, immensely passionate, a true vegetarian, desperately optimist, oddly empathetic, simple player with the fairies, easy going, and of course thoughtful with my guests and my hosts.
And not really a great english writer :)
I like to travel very much. Until now, primarily in France, but now I'll try to go to other countries. I may be a little shy on our first meeting... but i'm always a nice and smiling guy...after my morning shower (before, i'm a awful mumbling monster... sorry !)
PHILOSOPHY
"If you can fill the unforgiving minute,
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run.
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And —which is more— you’ll be a Man, my son!"
"If" - Rudyard Kipling
This text is my way of life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Level 4.
Good, but need to level up !
Interests
To discover new places and new people, talk with them over a drink (no alcohol for me, do you have tea?), cook, play board games, play the cello, taking pictures and creating portraiture.
Walk, run, swim, climb, row, juggle (sometimes with fire).
Learn, observe, listen, think, discuss, exchange. In one word : Live.
And sing and whistle all the day :D

Music, Movies, and Books
Even if I sing all the day, I prefer to listen songs without voices : Classical music of course (Vivaldi, my love !), but I prefer movies or videos games musics : Howard Shore, Bill Brown, Alexandre Desplat... I may be very talkative about this :)
The exact sounds of happiness for me : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r2rIm_Td2Mk.
About books, I would talk about many titles that I read... and forgot... Just one to remember, the greatest story in my life : His Dark Materials, a trilogy from Philip Pullman. You have to read it!
About movies... I have little success in concentrating for an hour and a half :) Unless it's for : Whiplash, Moulin Rouge, Chicago, American Beauty, American History X and the better one : Cloud Atlas.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Listen the sea music in Zadar (Croatia), in the night with no one around. Only dark and low sounds.
A moment of grace.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I may offer :
- A lesson of mathematics (don't run away !)
- A complete workout about "How to make crèpes (french desserts)"
- A picture of your face
- A music sharing moment
- A bordgame play
