Turn my prorotype into a real boardgame.

ABOUT ME

I'm quite discreet and, when I'm in a group, I often wait people have finished talking before I give my opinion. So, most of the time, I don't express myself.

I'm perfectionist but I try to cure myself of it. I have a touch of madness and like humour, especially when it's nonsensical or play on words. I always have a question to ask.

I'm always a volunteer. A charity shop needs help ? I'm a volunteer. A board games organization needs help ? I'm a volunteer. They need some people from the public in a show ? I'm a volunteer.

PHILOSOPHY

I think the worst thing human can do is lying. When there are lies, there is no relationship and dialogue possible.

My parents taught me that life is difficult and we always have to study and work, and enjoy life later, when all duties are done... But i've wasted enough time : I want to enjoy every moment because life is not made to work, it's made to live. I want to work because I like my job or to buy a house or something, but not because I "have to work".

I want to learn many things in many differents fields , because I'm curious of knowledge, and meet a lot of people and friends. Relationships are very important to me. The best moments that stay in memory are those spent with people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When we were in Belgium, we didn't have much time to offer and we lived in a tiny flat. Now we have a real house in Christchurch, we can be more active in the CS project.

We are mainly available to host travellers but we intend to travel later and we hope we will have some great surfing experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've heard about Couchsurfing from two friends who often tell us about their Couchsurfing relationships and it seems to be a really interesting experience.

My short personal experience is really positive, we met some interesting people.

Interests

I'm mad about boardgames : I would play them all day and all night (but I'm often tired so I'm required to sleep...) and I'm currenty on a couple of projects to create boardgames by myself or with some friends.

An other major thing in my life is Ice cream. I love Ice cream ! My favourite flavours are chocolate, coffee and coconut. With dark hot chocolate flowing and then hardening. Hmmm...

I like practising a variety of creative arts which I'm not able to define, but I will happily show you my creations.

Sport is not my cup of tea, but I like cycling and I occasionally practise archery.

I'm interested in many many things and I'm always asking questions to understand everything.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like many different kind of music : rock, pop, OST, ambiant, classical... I'm much more sensitive to music than singing.
I'd rather avoid rap, rnb and some tints of techno.
My favourite band is Nightwish.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Cleaning a whole disgustingly dirty house in two weeks to make it looking like a real liveable house.
- Creating a board game and demonstrating it in BG festivals (not published yet... let's hope it will happen).
- Meeting several amazing people in Christchurch in only one month.
- Managing to ignore my fears and diving in the ocean's water to swim with my favourite dolphins, the duskies.

Teach, Learn, Share

- I can teach French and subtilities of this language.
- I can share Belgian and French culture, especially my favourite literature.
- I will certainly teach you how to play a board game.

I'm interested in many things and I always try to understand everything. I'm sure you will have some amazing things to tell or show :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

As surfers, we would offer to cook one of our favourite meals and/or help with dishes.
