About Me

I was a (pastry) chef for many years, and now work in the arts. I run a studio that specializes in fine art reproduction.

Before moving to Los Angeles I spent a year in New Zealand cooking, and love traveling any chance I get.

I still haven't beaten Breath of the Wild, and I make my own ice cream.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people and experience new things. I've been lucky to meet some amazing people on this site and have some incredible experiences. I'd like to repay the good karma I've had by hosting in Los Angeles soon, and hope to continue making new friends on here.

Also, let's be real. I want to know where all the best spots to eat are, and of course introduce people to the best food in Los Angeles. :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got to meet and hang out with Lonesome George, the last of the Pinta Giant Tortoise species indigenous to the Galapagos Islands before he passed away making them extinct. :(

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you about contemporary art, baking, and how not to kill your houseplants.

I love dancing, though I'm not any good at it. Dancing is a must in every city i visit! I'm happy learning new things, so I'm all ears if you have some wisdom you'd like to pass on.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook for my hosts and any other guests (and clean up after myself). I'd be happy to take any of my hosts out for a nice dinner too!
