G'day citizens of the world!

I'm Dale, an easy going 27 year old from Melbourne, Australia.

The past 8 years I have been working on turning my passion for adventure, music and teaching into a career and have been fortunate enough to work both at home and overseas as a touring musician, activity instructor of a variety of outdoor pursuits and as a leader of young people.

My love of travel first stemmed for an impulse trip to Canada as a 19 year old, where I ended up living for a year, having the time of my life. Since then my main goal in life has been to explore as much of this incredible planet we call home, whilst doing what I can to make it a better place and educate the people who will hopefully keep it turning into the future!

Any couchsurfing hosts will find that I am fun, easy going, sociable, respectful and always up for an adventure of some kind. I enjoy immersing myself in the community and culture of wherever I am in the world and have a very hard time saying "no" to most things! My philosophy in life is to live every day like it's your last and to spread the love!

I'm currently seeking couches/floor space/a roof over my head for an upcoming trip to the Americas in early 2017.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing to meet amazing people from around the world, make new friendships and immerse myself wherever I am.

Although I haven't yet found the opportunity to host or be hosted through Couchsurfing itself, I've always been open to having people stay with me in Melbourne (or wherever else I might be living at the time) and am usually the first point of call for visiting friends! I'm also very lucky that in my travels I've met a huge amount of incredible people that have invited me to stay with them :)

I wholeheartedly believe in balance and karma, so naturally any couchsurfing host that has me in their home will always have a place to stay whenever they visit wherever I am.
