Hello there! My name is Julia, I'm 25 years old and I study French and German literature in Freiburg (Germany). Since I'm really open-minded, I love being in good company and meet people with whom I can hang out, travel, discover new places, etc. I'm very interested in culture, e.g. I love going to the theatre and to cinema. I'm also very interested in photography.

I've already lived twice in France (Nice and Tours), so I always appreciate talking in french, but speaking in English is fun, too!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Already went to Den Haag, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Girona, Paris and Aix en Provence, Tübingen via CouchSurfing - and it's always been SO MUCH FUN. Thanks to Couchsurfing, I got to meet very interesting people and I hope to do so in the future!

Unfortunately, my landlord doesn't allow me to host strangers, but I really look forward to host people myself when moving into a new flat! :-)

I listen to a lot of pop/alternative/singer-songwriter music like Anouk, Damien Rice, Jethro Tull, Kate Bush, KT Tunstall, Moddy, Placebo, Regina Spektor, Simon & Garfunkel, Soap&Skin, Sophie Hunger, Sting, Rolling Stones, Tori Amos... but I'm into Reggae and Hip Hop as well.

However, my all time favorite artist is a writer: I really do love Kafka.

Oh, and I like old movies like "Some like it hot"...

What I Can Share with Hosts

I could teach you some German or French and share my passion for culture with you. Since I also love to cook, I'd find it really nice to prepare a good meal together and enjoy it with some fresh white wine. :-)
