About Me

Important: not available until May 31st.

CURRENT MISSION

Out to explore.

ABOUT ME

Love to travel and to connect with different people. Trying to discover a little bit about the world we live in.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is movement.

“o mais importante e bonito, do mundo, é isto: que as pessoas não estão sempre iguais, ainda não foram terminadas - mas que elas vão sempre mudando. Afinam ou desafinam, verdade maior. É o que a vida me ensinou. Isso que me alegra montão.” (Guimarães Rosa, brazilian writer)

One of my fave quotes. It's something like "the most beautiful and important thing in the world is it: people are not always the same, they haven't been done yet - they're always changing. They tune and untune, the biggest truth. That's what life taught me. And this makes me really happy".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that spending some time with locals is the best way to discover a little bit about the place and its lifestyle.
Well, and I love stories. I think a great way to get them is when you connect to people. And if people are able to share their couch, can you imagine about their stories? :)

Interests

Backpacking, of course. Infinite conversations (keep calm, I'm a good listener, I swear!), running and cooking. I do love jokes and fall for different people, music, books, movies, tech stuff, cartoons, ashtanga vinyasa, vipassana, mindfulness, dogs and my family and friends. Swimming and dancing make my mind too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Maybe joining a not-very-legal party in the middle of the Atacama Desert. Or traveling part of Nz by bike.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Portuguese, help people to practice some Spanish or English, share recipes, help to knit and teach some origami.

I can prepare "caipirinha" and "brigadeiro" if I can get the ingredients.

We can share stories over a beer (or coffee or tea).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share any kind of information about my country, prepare some special dishes, help with the everyday dutties at home and have loooooooooooong conversations with some beer or wine (at night and if you drink, of course).
I can take care of pets and plants too and give you Portuguese lessons, knit you a scarf, teach/make some origamis and, well... I can try to play guitar/ukulele (but terribly - better not ask!).
