About Me

ABOUT ME

Forests and Coffee Shops...and all the conversations in between. Simple enough, I love adventure & I like people. Nature is kinda awesome but so is a quality cup of coffee, both enhanced when shared. It's during that sharing and community that true life happens. Happy may not always be the circumstance but Joy is the choice I daily strive to choose, not so much for self but the benefit of others. For if I can impart and share that Joy with just one other person, brightening their day-for even just a small moment~Success. There really isn't that much that's of true importance in this life... but if what is important can be found in the communal and relational, that's all I truly purpose to do:
Live To Love & Love To Live
^ motto my Father impressed upon and showed me all of His days

PHILOSOPHY

Eros will have naked bodies; Friendship naked personalities.
-C. S. Lewis
Striving to live a transparent life.
It's only when we build up walls and wear masks
that we begin to crumble and choke ourselves out from within.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Hiked the Masaya Volcano (active) in Nicaragua
-Bottle-fed 3 new born underdeveloped lambs 4 times a day for 2 weeks. They were incapable of feeding themselves.
They were born lacking the motor and muscle function to swallow, so you had to massage their throats to get them to take it in. If we are like sheep... just saw myself in those lambs. At times helpless despite the love and care of another.
-Followed many gut impulses that led me to some of the greatest life conversations with hitch-hikers, AT-Hikers and Quality Gypsy Souls.
