ABOUT ME

I live in Dallas, TX with my husband and our handsome tuxedo cat Mies. I make lists for everything, and they all start with things I've already accomplished so I can have something to mark off. I like puppies and sushi, but for different reasons.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life with aspirations to leave the world a better place than when I got here. I live my life for people, we're all people, we just have different habits. Once we realize that, and start focusing on learning and listening to one another then together we can change the world in a positive way.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've couchsurfed a bit through the states and New Zealand. At the moment I'm organizing a trip to Italy in the fall, and showing people around Dallas when I have a chance!

I've also hosted a surprising amount of people in the town I went to college in, Ruston, Louisiana. I wasn't able to travel much while in school, and tried to get everyone I could to come visit me! It was a great way to experience different cultures, while also showing people that small towns often make up the true culture of an area.

The amount of generosity given by strangers I've met on here has been ridiculously amazing.

Rumor has it I was conceived at a Pink Floyd concert, so it's in my blood to like them. I love that I list this knowing that no one ever reads this part of a profile. I could put I enjoy punching babies in the face in this box and will probably never get a comment on it.

I like all kinds of books, but specifically like architecture and design books because they're more pictures than words.

I'm from Louisiana and though I'm not a culinary master, I make some mean jambalaya and red beans and rice.
