Update- Hello everyone as you probably can tell from my response rate I have not checked this site in a very long time. I would like to start getting back in the CS community now that I have more time, I feel bad if you sent me a request within the last few months as I thought I changed my status to not accepting guests. I still can't host at the moment however if you send me a message to want to hang out I would be happy to show you Bogota!

I am from the U.S but live in Bogota, Colombia. I am working for a real estate company and trying to navigate the city the best I can! I am always looking to meet know people and explore different parts of this city. I have been here almost a year but there is still so much to learn!

My hobbies besides travel and languages also include chess, dancing, music, and economics. I am really hoping to keep on making new friends and I love couch surfing because it has also helped me with those goals when I first started traveling.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I hosted several people when I was studying in New Orleans, and I have also stayed with many people in Lebanon, Slovakia, France, Turkey, and Jordan. The main reason I am on couch surfing is because I know how lonely it can sometimes be to constantly be living in new countries and traveling for long periods of time. While it can be the most rewarding experience, it also does come with an easy isolation due to the constant moving. Yet with Couchsurfing I feel I can meet and make friends all over the world, and even if only for a week or a day, I can learn so much from them, and I hope they can from me as well.

兴趣

Economics, Chess, and Film. Economics because I feel it gives you the tools and a framework for how to better understand the world. Chess because it allows me to be focus on one thing and the whole world just falls away. On the board in a tournament I don't think about anything else except the next move. And Film because of its power to illustrate and tell stories.

Music- Starting to get into Rap due to my friend, Reggae, Classical, and Electronic.

Books- Notes of the Underground, the Duel, the Overcoat, Non-fiction such as "How the Mind Works, "Decline of Violence," and I am starting to get into Latin American Authors as well.

Movies- The Truman Show all time favorite. Second runner ups, Abre Sus Ojos, Our Lady of the Assigns, Goodwill Hunting, and many more that I can't think of right now.

T.V Shows- Game of Thrones, Black Sails, Narcos, and Peaky Blinders
