ABOUT ME

Hi y'all!
I'm a Philly kid at heart. I am learning to play flamenco guitar, but please dont ask for a concert just yet! I just finished riding my bicycle from Barcelona to Amsterdam. I saw some amazing things and met some amazing people during the two months on the road. I'm a scientist and an artist, and I think both studies aim to understand and learn from nature from different perspectives. I love going out to see live music. I am a true nature boy. I usually prefer small villages to big cities.
I am new to the sport of bicycle touring, and I hope to find couches to stay on on my next trip!
I hope to get into Biomedical Engineering soon, and design prosthetics, scanning devices, artificial organs, etc... It seems like a great blend of creative and technical skill, and I think that this field will become more and more beneficial and appreciated as time goes on.
I love to joke about everything, and i laugh a lot.
I'm 420 friendly :)

PHILOSOPHY

I think that everyone is like a sponge. At early years you absorb knowlege and experience from all around you. There comes a time when your sponge starts getting saturated. At that time the internal mechanisms that are unique to everyone will start processing all of this jumbled information and experience. Then you squeeze the sponge, and what comes out is your contribution to this world. I'm still in the "filling up" stage. But of course this is all bull shit

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

After a grateful year of travels and many fine couches, i am back home. I have been participating in local Philly couchsurfing meet-ups and events, and am looking forward to being as good a host as those i stayed with!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have relied heavily on the awesome people of the European CS community on my last cyclo-venture through Western Europe. Thank you all, and if you want to come to Philadelphia, you know where to stay!

Interests

I like to draw and cook, and build. I like the water, the ocean, rivers, lakes, mountains. I love the outdoors, but i also love being around people. Hard to do both at the same time. I read a LOT of books, usually classic novels and science and math historys, philosophy, etc... I like picnics and coffee and pie. And back rubs. Riding horses, making music, getting drunk, cycling,
