About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel the world on miles, points, and PTO
ABOUT ME
Graduated from the University of Iowa in May 2009. Backpacked through Europe for six weeks after school. Worked for Habitat for Humanity in Jacksonville, Florida as an Americorps volunteer for a year before making my way to CNN in Atlanta.
I'm a story finding, storytelling, news-gathering photojournalist & assignment editor active in social, tech, business, and travel spaces. I like travelling to new places and getting a taste of someone else's daily life. I love going for a run with my iPhone in a new city, stopping occasionally to take pictures.
I travel a lot in the US and have an occasional international trip. I open credit cards to fulfill the requirements to get signup bonuses, then I travel the world for free on miles and points while maintaining excellent credit scores. I enjoy talking about it, so feel free to ask! And no, i'm not joking. I went on 14 trips in the US for free in 2012 while positioning myself for many more. Love this hobby.
I'm also constantly looking for the next trip to take advantage of the world's busiest airport. Got some suggestions?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've heard of good stories from others, but I have yet to experience couchsurfing myself. I would love to meet random people and get to know them! This concept sounds like a blast!
