ABOUT ME

I just want to give back. Couchsurfing has always been a great resource when I've travelled and I'd like to finally offer my couch up now that I have settled down... until I start moving again. As for my past travel experiences I most recently worked on a documentary film and archaeological dig in Ghana. Before that I was in Copenhagen for a semester of university. Prior to that I spent a month in Northern Manitoba. I've also backpacked around eastern Europe, Turkey, and Cuba. Victoria has been my intermittent home in between traveling for the last four or five years.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couchsurfing saved me and I need reciprocate.

When I moved to Denmark a while back, my housing wasn't available to move into when I arrived. So I logged on to couch surfing and managed to find a few lovely people to put me up over the two week period until my building was ready to move into. I can't thank them enough.

If I could offer the same to another wayward traveler, lost soul, or train-hopping hobo I would.

Interests

Photography, film, music, hiking, camping, reading, writing. I build and play many musical instruments. I love a good book. I print my own photographs. I do a lot of things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Starting a charity (funded by photography) to benefit the communities displaced by Bui Hydroelectric Dam.
- Waking in Rila Monastery in Bulgaria as spring blooms all around. Listening to the roar of twin rivers as they wrap around the compound.
- Seeing Jeff Mangum of Neutral Milk Hotel live in concert.
