CURRENT MISSION

Trying to make the most of the time that I have in Europe. While I am living here, I hope to meet amazing people and see/do amazing things.

ABOUT ME

I am from the south of the United States.

My students think I'm crazy.

They're right.

Sweet tea is better than unsweet tea. Trust me, I'm southern.

Turtles are funny.

Spanish food is better than American food. Not only is it fresher, but it is a carnivore's dream.

I love to travel and meet new people.

A good education is THE trump card.

Everyone deserves the trump card.

I have no idea what I want to do with my life, but I hope one day to spend my time helping others around the world.

Right now, I am living in Spain and doing my best to make the most of my experience. I don't know how long I will be here, so every day counts.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is to be lived, and the world is too big to sit in one place. Perspective is gained by meeting new people, learning new things, and experiencing life in new and unique ways.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had a few people stay at my place during a time when we had an open room. Other than that, I have only spoken with friends who have had good experiences. I hope to be able to participate more as time goes on.

Interests

I like good conversation, a good beer, live music, history, meeting people, and learning. I love sports, exotic foods, and traveling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked through the jungles of Peru at night with no flashlight trying to get to Machu Picchu. By far the scariest thing I have ever done.
