ABOUT ME

I grew up in a small village in the middle of Germany. I then moved to nearby Kassel for studying, and I'm still there. I like my job and i like the town, so i will stay there for a while unless I get a job offer for London, San Francisco, the Antarctic or on the moon.

I haven't found out this yet. I've travelled a lot, but I now think it doesn't matter where I travel unless I meet the people there. I would also like to meet those people who travel to my area and don't just want to see the tourist places. (We don't have much of the places here anyway) But I could show you all the places I discovererd here beyond the common tourist stuff...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None at All

Looking behind the scenes. I don't like to take the tourist-hop-on-hop-off-bus. Just take the next public-transport-bus and see where it leads you. I want to see the common places of a town and not just those I'm told to see.

I like to watch to German and British Comedy, some American as well, but they are better with animated series like The Simpsons, The Gummy Bears and Spongebob. I like fantasy books like Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter and Comedy like The Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy.

A couple of things, usually those I've been warned about.
Nothing illegal or even really dangerous, just - unusual.
But nothing of these is a clear winner. So you get a list of amazing things
- Walking across the US/Mexican border at San Ysidro
- Mastering the magic roundabout in Swindon
- Riding the Cable Car on the running boards
