ABOUT ME

I am completely new to CS and am excited about it. I haven't traveled much yet but I'm trying to change that with a month long trip in Europe for all of August. I've some time in Central America but have gone nowhere in several years.
I want to travel to expand my horizons, to get a taste for other cultures and an understanding of the world as a whole instead of just my little corner of it. People, cultures, traditions all interest me and that's why the concept of CS is so exciting to me. What a great opportunity to meet and get to know people from completely different backgrounds and ideologies.

I am merely a surfer right now. I have nowhere to host as of yet but would love to once I get a place.

None. I am brand spanking new!

Interests

I love books, spending time in the woods/wilderness, hiking, canoeing, cliff jumping anything done outdoors etc. I have a big family and spend tons of time with them. I am interested in working with my hands and building things (mostly with wood). I played basketball and ran track throughout college and like to stay fit and active with sports or outdoor adventures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed over 30 of the High Peaks in the Adirondack Mt range...spent 10 days canoeing up the Allagash Waterway in Maine...swam with a moose at sunrise in a river 100 miles from civilization...won a basketball game on a buzzer beater from half court against #8 in the nation...washed the dirty feet of children in Honduras and gave them new shoes to wear
