About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Let yourself go.

ABOUT ME

I'm a bartender at a famous brewery in Asheville, NC (Wicked Weed) and I love to cook delicious food from my wonderful garden, watch my silly hens run around the yard, hike in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina, read things that are informative and intriguing, spend time with my lovely hound Zoe, and DANCE!

PHILOSOPHY

Speak beautifully. Do beautiful things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The goal is to make as many genuine connections around the world as possible. Let's teach one another.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Dancing like mad at the Logan Greene & The Bricks concert and a late night bike ride around Tucson with Amanda and Meaghan! Great times!

EDIT:

Making noise with couchsurfer Olivier and my friends in the middle of the night!

Interests

Great food, coffee, and beer.

I love to cook and bake, as of late I have gotten into making wedding cakes.

Have recently been getting back into yoga after having strayed away from it for a while.

Music, Movies, and Books

My absolute favorite artists/bands right now are Angel Olsen, Sleep, Andy Stott, and Sturgill Simpson.

Most recently I've been impressed with Jake Gylenhall in Nightcrawler.

I have my nose deeply buried in Mike Kim's LSAT prep book (I know, not very interesting, but an insight into what I'm doing these days).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sitting on top of Angel's Landing at Zion National Park was one of the most momentous events of my life. Feeling simultaneously weightless and fighting to keep yourself grounded to a rock nearly 6000ft from the ground is life changing. I've been struggling to find that head space ever since!

Teach, Learn, Share

I really love to cook, and I love sharing the food that I make with other people. I study Sociology and am well acquainted with food politics...I love to debate, too. Let's have a conversation over a beer and then dance!

Countries I’ve Visited

Mexico, Puerto Rico, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Spain, Virgin Islands, U.S.

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
