About Me

After changes in my life, the only thing that I want to pursue is happiness. So, I really appreciate a single second in my life to make my beloved people and myself be happy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to connect with other people who have different perspectives from diverse cultures. I do not totally believe in what the media is talking. I hope to talk and see by my own eyes. Thus, being on CS is one of the best ways, isn't it?

Interests

I am majoring in Botany so being outdoor and learning about the trees are some of my interests. I also like to write everyday. It can be a story, a feeling... One more thing, I would love to mix and match my clothes together. I am not a fashionista but I love to play with garments.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I randomly listen to many kinds of music. It's up to my emotion. Now, I am listening to the music of young Vietnamese singers and songwriters like Cat Tuong, Tien Tien... Their music touches my heart somehow.

Movies: I love watching romantic yet logic films (The longest ride); logic and law stuffs (How to get away with murder, Sherlock); History...

Books: I have read many kinds of books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One thing I have recent done is fasting which I have never tried that before. I was invited to the fasting challenge from Jasmine (a friend of mine) who is running the Friends Beyond Faith. Fasting in Ramadan means you are not allowed to eat or drink between sunrise and sunset. I woke up at 5.30 am in the morning on that day. At first, I hoped to have a light breakfast before sunrise but I did not have time. I had to come early for the national exam so I made a decision to skip my suhor (morning meal). I thought it could be a bad day because I easily get angry if I am hungry. Surprisingly, I was cool during the day even I did not drink water. When the thirsts came, I just watched my face and rinsed my mouth. It was my first time to fast. It is amazing that my Muslim friends can survive in a month. Incredible!
