ABOUT ME

Like so many, I have imagined what the rest of the world is like since I was a child and so for me CS is a way to fulfill that dream. I'm not the kind of person who likes to stick to the same routines all the time and so the more I travel the more I want to discover realities different from my own. I have only seen a tiny grain of what this world has to offer :p

I guess straightforward, curious and stubborn are some of my main characteristics. Also, I'm a fan of sarcasm but I only use it in reasonable amounts, not all the time xD

I want to participate in as many interesting activities as I can. For now I cannot repay the kindness of my hosts but as soon as I have the conditions for it I will start hosting people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I really liked every single one of the surfing experiences I've had so far. You get the unique oportunity to know a city from a point of view that a "classic" tourist could never do and I have all my past hosts to thank for that.

Interests

Travelling above all.
I like to talk about Cinema almost as much as I like to watch films :D
Music and Literature are also constants in my life.
I'm very interested in History and Anthropology and so every time I'm in a bookstore I have to make an effort not to leave with an empty wallet.
I have a fascination with Languages and I want to learn as many as I can. It's not just a way to enhance communication skills because a language also says a lot about the country where it is predominant.
I am also really interested and intrigued about human relationships and the human mind. I don't think I will ever graduate in Psychology but it remains an area where I want to increase my knowledge and satisfy my curiosity!
I love swimming and when I do it I tend to feel more relaxed and peaceful than I do in any other place.
Other interests are Teas (usually accompanied by a good chat), Hiking, Board Games, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things I've seen is called Gerês. It's a region in Portugal that everyone on Earth should visit.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm very curious about a lot of different things so I guess I can only be sure when you tell me what you can teach/share.

Besides my stories and experiences, I think the best thing I could teach are languages. I speak Portuguese and English very well and I have been learning Chinese (Mandarim) for a few months now. My chinese is still very basic but what little I have learned (not only about the language but also about the country) I would love to share.
