Overview
About Me
I'm Duc An but friends often call me Duncan (easier to pronounce), was born in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam but grew up in a small town up north called Phan Rang with a population of 70,000. I moved back to Ho Chi Minh at the age of 10, stayed for another 5 years and here I am, have been living in Vancouver since 2014 where I'm currently working in the accounting department for a tech company.
I hate reading books yet still try to finish one every 2 weeks, I hate drawing yet still draw something once in a while just to have something productive in my life.
I can offer you my endless supply of coffee and tea while you're here (please read "my home" carefully before sending request).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people from other places, I love the concept where you often can just travel around the world for free (mostly)
To not feel like a tourist but just somebody walking around the city, be a part of something bigger than himself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent 2 months traveling in 7 countries in Asia (if Hong Kong is its own country that that'll be 8) with a handbag and a backpack.
Backpacking to Europe, visited 7 countries in 2 months and a half and used Couchsurfing more than a half of that journey, finally achieving my dream of traveling to Europe and somehow lost 8.5 kg in the process.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to share the things I learned in Vietnam to you if you happen to travel to my home country in the future. Heck! I can even help you with the travel plan.
