HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'll be happy to share a good time with travellers. To exchange points of view about places and experiences.

I would also like to meet other people abroad, understand their way of thinking and living. I'll bring them a positive spirit and all my energy!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A first positive experience in Portugal, some friends in the Toulouse community and some guests. What I lived encouraged me to be more and more involved

Centres d'intérêt

Some things I like:

History. International politics, as "history on-going". Sociology.
I try to understand why things happen and what men are looking for from others. For each matter, I like to have the vision of everyone involved.

Architecture.
What I like is not only the shape, but the fact that it expresses a way of thinking.

Paintings and frescos, classics or moderns, like l'Empire des Lumières of Magritte, the Deposition of Pontormo, some Caravaggio's or Schiele's. I like elegance and mystery in paintings.

Photography, casual portraits in particular or stolen pictures with people. Also posters, for publicity or propaganda (René Gruau...)

I used to play piano. Now I'm charmed by anyone else playing it... The human voice reaches me too, so I likes opera, jazz, blues, fado, tango and also rock/pop singers with peculiar voices.

Traveling! and many other things, like sailing, wind surfing, board games and in general any king of social game or sport. I love challenges!

Some more critical activities:

Cooking! I love to have a good meal and I know good places in Toulouse for every budget, but I cannot manage to be passionate by cooking. To survive, I buy excellent products and try to make them eatable with the less possible effort (boiled water, oven...)
When it goes to social negotiations, I always wash the dishes... (I'm a pros!)

Dancing. I like to shake and I'm improving my way of doing it, aiming to the ultimate goal of being synchronous with music! The idea is always the same: to have fun, no matter what!

Shopping? By myself I can barely tolerate it, but with the good girl it can be a nice game ;)
