About Me

hey there,
In 2012 I left my country of origin (germany) and started traveling, since then i spent most of my time in so called australia. One day i hope to live on a queer vegan anarcha homestead and live as much off the land as possible.

I like laughing and it is pretty easy to make me laugh, even though nowadays it seems there is not much to laugh about, maybe makes it even more important I also enjoy discussions about utopias, ways to be a less shitty human and what to make for dinner.

when i travel i like to meet the people of the country i am at and like to learn about the country and the people.

i am also on bewelcome ( https://www.bewelcome.org/members/duckbilledplatypus ) and trustroots
A lot of the time I am traveling i use helpx because i like feeling useful and it is a great way for me to learn and acquire new skills.

I am not verified because i refuse to give money to a company that has no transparancy of where the money goes to and exploits something that once seemed a beautiful community 'project'.
Yes i do still use couchsurfing, mostly because sofar it is the most userfriendly of all the alternatives and unfortunately there are still the majority of hosts that haven't registered on the other pages yet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing cause i like to be able to experience local culture but also use couchsurfing as a way to connect with likeminded people and build a network. I am not very good at spontaneously approaching new people so couchsurfing (or trustroots, bewelcome) is a good tool for that.

I am super easy when it comes about where to sleep, I like sleeping on the floor or getting my hammock in between two trees. That's all I need :)

one day i hope to be able to host people in my own place and give back
