ABOUT ME

I am dedicated to learning (though not necessarily all academic) having come from academic parents (one a scientist, the other an art historian) who both have a penchant for travel, good wine and good food. Currently taking a gap year before college.

PHILOSOPHY

To embrace my curiosity (and feed it) by keeping myself from falling into a boring routine. Routines make you lazy.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just joined recently in the hopes of finding couches during my tour of Europe this coming March 2007. I look forward to becoming a trusted traveler and host over time!
Though I live with my parents, and may not be able to provide a couch during this year (I will be travelling for most of it anyway), my own personal couch next year will be comfortable and open to visitors.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted couch-surfers, and have eaten lunch with them, but never surfed.

Joan Didion, Edward Abbey and Janet Evanovich and David Sedaris are some current interests. I have always been in love with Jane Austen, and fond of all those childhood fantasy books by Tamora Pierce.
