About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Get a job in Barcelona. Then teach English, Play poker and Guitar and get out of the shade
ABOUT ME
I'm quite excited. I'm 'qualified' to teach English as a foreign language and it's an awesome opportunity. The main drawback however of being able to travel and work almost anywhere, is that you are not likely to know anyone when you get there. Gawd bless couchsurfing.
I like to think that i'm an unconventional guy with a unique outlook, though i guess its all relative. I like to educate myself as much as possible and i get a buzz from finding new things out and exchanging ideas. I've supported myself over the last year by playing poker which I found preferable to trying to fit into jobs that didn't suit.
I love music, I've been teaching myself guitar for years and I sing too. I actually spend a lot of time doing these things, trying to improve. I'm also genuinely interested in things like philosophy, science, politics, economics, culture, psychology etc and i relish the chance to converse with experts and just about anybody who has something to say for themselves.
I'm extremely easy going and laid back. And i think its fair to say, a fairly likable person.
PHILOSOPHY
Its nice to be nice.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've met a few travelers for drinks with a friend of mine who's involved in couchsurfing. To be honest though I'm looking forward to being in a position to host in a couple of months time to really start to get involved.
