I'm an easygoing guy. I love a nice talk over some drinks, outdoors if possible. I guess I'm the typical Madrid character: lively, a sunchaser, a night owl... Therefore a sleep deprived dude that will take you/follow you anywhere there seems to be a chance to experience something cool, from a frozen mojito at a sunset rooftop in Madrid to a sleepy sunrise on a sandy beach south of the border to the great hall of a nice museum, to... Yeah

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I got into CS by chance, my good friend Antonio had hosted some people and he told me how it worked. I met up with him and his surfers and we set out to the city. I loved the experience and started hosting surfers myself or going to members homes. Seriously, this is what i've been looking for: Insider knowledge to any city I visit, and travelers (not tourists) looking for insider stuff about the city I live and love.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So my pal Antonio and I set out for a trip to the beach in eastern Spain and he says we can come to this guy's house in Alicante, hes a couchsurfer and he's awesome. He calls the guy and we get there, but Antonio forgot to tell him I was coming too, and Jose already had 3 couchsurfers home. He tells me to stay anyway "we'll figure it out later!!". Oh yeah we did!! The night started with some Mojitos at home and some music, and by the time we got back home some of us just went straight for the beach.. Since then we call it the slotsleeping trip. Weird name maybe, but none of us wanted to go after 4 days there, and all the other surfers we met have come to Madrid or hosted us anywhere else. What a couchsurfing baptism!!!

Interests

I'm the kind of guy that can be interested in anything. "Man" Stuff like cars, speed and sports? Check! Philosophical stuff like Rayuela by Cortazar (fav book by the way), Kusturikas films or the latest exhibit on Monet? Check! A whole night talking about spanish grammar and ethimology? Check! Seriously, come to me with a genuine interest or idea and you'll have me.
