Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really enjoy meeting people from different cultures and especially in some countries I was hosted by people who could not travel a lot. While I felt bad for them, they actually told me they just loved couchsurfing because it brought them so many interesting people with varying backgrounds into their homes and gave them the opportunity to travel while staying at home.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

when I arrived at the "terminal de buses en La Paz, Bolivia" directly from Europe with no Spanish at all. A friend of a friend dropped me there and I had to wait for four hours. I came back many times after feeling totally at ease and drinking some coca tea and talking to people but that first time I was just sitting there totally helpless sourrounded by so many, so different people.

I went for a year to to school at Cedar High in Rocklands, Cape Town, the best school in Mitchell's Plain (a town ship in the Cape Flats).

Teach, Learn, Share

some yoga, some travel experiences, ideas about life and how they change depending on where and how I lived, discussing capitalism and what it does to society and if AI is going to take over soon,
environmental consciousness is important for me to share. I believe we can all start by looking at our own behaviour instead of pointing the finger on everyone else. It is not about total self-restriction but rather about exploring one's own possibilities and limitations.

Countries I’ve Visited

Greece, India, Nepal, Poland
