About Me
We have a baby now, so no guests or traveling for a while. Will be back into it soon.
CURRENT MISSION
To Establish myself as a freelancer so I can earn money remotely and live flexibly
ABOUT ME
I love live music and travel. I have a cool dog named Adobe. For work, I build websites and games with Flash, and I love it. I'm an artist and musician. I play drums and a bit of guitar. In terms of spirituality I'm a Taoist, and in terms of lifestyle I'm a Burner. That means I participate in festivals in the spirit of Burning Man and live by its ten principles of community and creativity... and dress up in ridiculous costumes whenever possible. I love to travel and in the last couple years I've had the opportunity to visit some amazing places.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm a Taoist. The world evolved to work beautifully. The more we mess with it, the more awkward and difficult things become. So why not try leaving it alone a bit? I live my life to do good work and spread good energy. I've noticed that the good energy always finds its way back...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm happy to host cool people at my place, and I look forward to crashing on some interesting couches. I love CouchSurfing, and would love to host more people in Atlanta.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Hosted a couple of travelers. One of them, Kirstin, rescheduled her trip to come back to Atlanta early - we showed her a really good time!
Traveling in Israel, I've stayed with some wonderful hosts. It's really great to be part of something so fun and revolutionary.

Music, Movies, and Books
I've been really into goa psytrance lately: BassNectar and Shpongle in particular. I'm also a fan of Electronic/World fusion stuff, like the Putumayo and Buddha Bar compilations. And I'm getting back into classical rock (Doors, Beatles and Pink Floyd) after some time away. As for movies, I like movies that make me think. I don't like movies that make me dumb. Fight Club, I Heart Huckabees, and Charlie Chaplin's classics are some favorites.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Burning Man is the clear and obvious winner. Out in that desert, brilliant people manifest wonders and demonstrate the vast power of the human spirit. Other than that, there's a place called the Hostel in the Forest. It's an eco-centric, sustainable community of travelers; anyone touring through South Georgia or North Florida MUST check it out.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a lot about web development, and a bit about music. I usually travel with a guitar, and I can turn virtually anything into a percussion instrument... so I'd love to jam. I'd love to learn more about sustainable agriculture, intentional community, and culturally progressive places around the world. And I could sit for hours sharing travel stories.
