ABOUT ME

Left the states about six years ago and have been living in several places since. My gal and I moved to Hong Kong last year and have been here for almost a year. I enjoy socializing, sports, camping, cards, movies and drinking.

We're big fans of the CS community and have hosted people while living in Bali. I recently moved away from Hong Kong but, I can still answer questions you may have about HK.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Meeting new people via traveling is always fascinating and this medium makes it much easier. We've hosted a few times while living in Ukraine and Bali and have slept on several couches during our travels around the world.

Interests

I write programs for work and in my spare time I enjoy hockey (inline or ice depending on where I live), film, Texas Hold'em, socializing, beer, cooking, and helping others via my skillset (Love the karma points), traveling, reading, listening to music (a must!), and many others that don't come to mind at the moment.

Music, Movies, and Books

I could go on for ages. I love film and music and when I read books I love to sneak a good horror novel in. Two of my fav's are "I am legend" by Matheson and "House of Leaves" by Danielewski.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'd like to think I've seen plenty in my life and experienced a lot. It's almost a drug and I choose to see more and share it with the people around me. So far I have traveled to 74 or so countries and eager to visit more.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a programmer with plenty of technical knowledge. I can't count the times I've spent at guest houses performing tech support for my hosts. I'm also an avid traveler and if someone is interested, I always love to share my experiences.
