ABOUT ME
I guess I'm a bag of paradoxes--just like everyone else. Very laid back and very neurotic. Extrovert-ish but then crash daily. Smoker since 14 years old and runner since 19. Want to take the time to live life but have a crammed schedule so that I can live and live through as many experiences as possible.
I find beauty and/or sadness in almost anything--which is probably why even an episode of Bugs Bunny can make me tear up. I joke incessantly, have a very dry humor, and my face is difficult to read. I love Seattle because of my wonderful friends, but MISS hot and humid...badly. What else can I say? I was born an educator and activist and will fight to the death for those I care about. And maybe the biggest thing you should know about me? My dogs are huge gifts in my life and I am thankful for every day that I am allowed to live with them.
I'm pretty psyched to join CS. Looking forward to meeting you!
PHILOSOPHY
I try to live as fully as I can so that I could die at any point free of regret. I think that I live pretty closely to that philosophy. Right now, "living fully" also means a lot of down-time because I'm a bit exhausted :). I try to leave my footprints--impacting my community and the people around me. I live with much gratitude about the incredible people whose lives have thankfully intersected with mine. I believe in karma and destiny and that everything that has come before has led to where I am now and I am currently exactly where I was meant to be.

Music, Movies, and Books
I can never remember what movies I have seen, actors names, lines from scripts, and oftentimes end up seeing movies multiple times because I don't remember that I've seen them. lol. Anyway, I like all types of movies--but just depends on my mind-set and mood. I'm ALWAYS up for horror movies though. As for music, I like all types of music except industry or acid types. My car stereo is typically set to one of the country stations; I like dancing to house, techno, or electronica; my iTunes account is filled with jazz, classical, rock, pop, hip hop, blues, etc... I have a handful of books that are not school-related--couple of classics like Count of Monte Cristo and Pride and Punishment, Catch-22, Ayn Rand.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There is nothing quite as fabulous as a midnight run on the beach when it is around 45 degrees out and clear skies. Then, coming home and having a cigarette is just a perfect combination.
